WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Weddings are about the people and the emotions. I love the buzz of nervous excitement when you’re getting ready, the emotion during the ceremony, the laughter with your friends and the quieter moments when it’s just the two of you. The day has an energy and atmosphere that will be unique to you. I want to capture this story through honest, creative, stylish images, that will take you back to your day and remind you of how you felt.

For most of the day I work behind the scenes and photograph your day as it unfolds. I combine this natural, documentary style with some beautiful, timeless portraits of the two of you, that will be relaxed, fun and show how awesome you looked. This will probably be the first chance you’ll have to catch your breath, so it’s a lovely opportunity to spend some time together and simply be yourselves.

Weddings are where people come together, so I’ll capture photos of you with your loved ones and all the little details you’ve so carefully sourced. I like to fit in with your day, chat to your guests and photograph you having the time of your lives.

Newborn Baby Photography

I specialise in newborn photography from birth and beyond, producing stunning and original newborn photos and baby photos. I photograph newborns from as young as 1 day old. Ideally it’s best to book your newborn photography BEFORE the “big day” – I tend to book a date two weeks after your due date, this tentative date can then be moved around as part of the allocated edited time I have in the week.

If you would like newborn photos of the baby sleeping and posed in different ways, the first two weeks are ideal as newborn babies are at their sleepiest allowing for more sleeping / calm time. This allows me to pose them slightly easier.

I take a laid-back fun approach to your session – you and your child are likely to be tired. We don't take lots of photos at once – short and sweet little “takes” are the order of the day. Breaks for feeding, cuddling and changing will of course just happen.

The sessions can take place in your home or at our studio. We have changing facilities etc in the studio and comfortable surroundings if feeding is required.

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

Family Portraits

I offer natural, relaxed portraits that show the true character of your family. Children, are more relaxed in surroundings they feel comfortable in, they quickly settle and get on with being the kids you know and love, running around, exploring and splashing in puddles. During our session I aim to capture authentic images and provide you with a lasting memory of your family.

Your family portrait session can take place at your home or on location or in my studio. Maybe you would like to go to your favourite place for a walk or do the things you like to do as family. Before your session we can discuss what to expect and choose a location together.

Portraits / Portfolio

Treat yourself to a fabulous model portfolio shoot at Memory Lane Studios or out on location. We will work together to get your personality through into your portfolio. Your portfolio images will look amazing both in print and on screen and the final retouched photographs will be yours on disc to print share and enjoy. Your session will start with a makeover at the studio or if you choose your own. Then the fun begins. If you want to venture out on location you can choose an urban or rural environment for your shoot. You will work together to create beautiful images that you can be proud of. The session fee Includes a telephone consultation prior to the shoot to discuss styling and your first 8 edited pictures on disc at high resolution for you to print, share and enjoy.
